The City Council of the City of Columbus, Texas met in special session on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at 5:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 605 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas, with the following present:

Mayor - Paula Frnka
Mayor Pro-Tem - Ester Chandler
Councilman - Leroy J. Sebesta
Councilman - Donald T. Churchill
Councilman - Ronnie Rogers

City Manager - David Stall
City Secretary - Jill Ready

And the following absent:
Councilman - DeWayne Kotrla

1. Call to Order:

Mayor Frnka called the meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. on January 29, 2002.

2. Pledge of Allegiance:

Led by Mayor Frnka.

Mayor Frnka recessed the special meeting at 5:02 P.M. and entered into executive session. The executive session was recorded on audio tape and sealed in an envelope marked "January 29, 2002 - Executive Session for consultation with City Attorney and discussion of pending litigation."

Mayor Frnka closed the Executive Session and, there being no further business, declared the council meeting adjourned at 6:05 P.M.
